| Q: | How do I apply to Grace Institute? |
| A: | The easiest way is to apply is to attend one of our Open Houses.
Please call us at (212) 832-7605 for times and dates. At our Open House, you will attend an informational
session and receive a tour. At that time, you may fill out an application. All applicants are then
scheduled for an interview with an admissions representative. (For complete application requirements, please visit the Admissions page.) |

| Q: | What do you mean by "TUITION-FREE," and how do I qualify? |
| A: | Students in our Business Skills programs do not pay fees for any classes. Students pay only a $25 registration fee and a one-time book and lab fee. Currently the book and lab fee is $275. The registration fee will be collected only if you are accepted to Grace Institute. |
| Q: | What are the courses and hours of the four-and-a-half-month Business Skills Day Program? |
| A: | Class hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Courses include: Business Math, Business Writing and Communications, Computer Training, Keyboarding, and Office Procedures. |
| Q: | What are the courses and hours of the nine-month Business Skills Evening Program? |
| A: | Class hours are Tuesday to Thursday, 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. One section may meet Monday to Wednesday, 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. if we have a sufficient number of students. Courses include: Business Writing and Communications, Computer Training, and Office Procedures. |
| Q: | What is the difference between the day and the evening programs? |
| A: | Both programs teach computer, writing, and office skills. Both programs offer job placement assistance to graduates. The evening program is a more advanced program exclusively for women already employed in full-time positions who wish to improve their business skills. Evening applicants must type 20 wpm. |
| Q: | What is the average class size? |
| A: | Class sizes are small to ensure adequate attention for each student. Classes hold 25-30 students. |
| Q: | Is there a dress code? |
| A: | Students are required to wear business attire every day. |
| Q: | Will I get a job when I graduate? |
| A: | Grace Institute has an 80 percent job placement rate. Placement assistance is based on academic performance, attendance and completion of the program. The Career Services Department will work with all students who meet these criteria; however, job placement is not guaranteed. |
